Private Tour 4 days 3 nights
First day: Departure is at 7:30 am in a mini bus from San Pedro de Atacama to the Bolivian border, stopping by immigration offices of Chile and Bolivia. Once at the Bolivian border we continue the journey in a 4WD JEEP with capacity for 6 people. On the first day we visit the Bolivian High Plateau, stopping at White Lake and Green Lake, both situated at the foot of Licancabur Volcano. Then, our journey continues with a visit to Salvador Dali desert, the hot springs in Polques, the morning sun geysers which are water springs that erupt at a temperature of 90 degrees, crevices from where magma also erupted. We end this first day at Laguna Colorada, nesting centre for more than 30000 flamingos of 3 different species. This centre is situated 4500 meters above sea level where it is possible to behold flora and fauna like flamingos, Vicuñas and other animals from the high plateau. We also are passing by the Siloli Desert where we can observe the Stone Tree, and an amount of rocky formations. We stay the night at the Desierto Ojo de Perdiz Hotel, (Tayika hotels) with private rooms, single rooms, double rooms or double bed rooms.Second Day: Departure is at 8:00 am from the hotel. The tour start observing mountains of colors, later on visiting high plateau lakes like Honda, Chirarcota, Hedionda and Cañapa. Afterwards, visiting the little Chiguana Salt Flat. Finally, we arrive to San Pedro de Quemes Village, where we stay the night in the Stone Hotel, Tayka, with private rooms single or double.
Third Day: Departure is at 8am. We visit the caverns by the shores of Uyuni Salt Flat called GALAXIAS. We also visit Incahuasi Isle, which is set at the center of the Salt Flat. Then we visit the Eyes of the Salar, the Museum of Salt and numerous salt formations, arriving then at the Luna Salada Hotel, situated by the shores of the salt flat, with private rooms single or double.
Forth day: Departure from the hotel is at 8:00 hrs, arriving at the Bolivian border at 16:00 hrs. From there we return to San Pedro de Atacama at 18:00hrs.
